Hmmm... sounds interesting! If we prepay and don't get enough people, I'm assuming that you'll just refund us back through PayPal?

Correct... i never move the cash out until i get all 10 people ordered. Makes it easier to just send it back. Paypal does the refund in full including any/all fee's assest incase you wanted to know.

they are made out of a phenolic material. I won't say which as that is info i'll hold secret. I researched it... i found the source... and it's better than what's out there material wise. Can't go any further or others may try to copy me.

I read that for every 5-7 degrees lower temp... you get 1hp ? Does anyone know if this is true?
The spacers should work well with a CAI, Sounds interesting.

How thick are these spacers? Would they require you to modify the mounting points of your CAI to compensate for anything?

Boe, do you have pic of them installed on the 2.0L?

Spacer's are 1/8" thick so that you don't need to modify anything for install or use different bolts. This keeps cost down dramatically. The material is of a higher grade than other competitors use giving a greater heat resistance which allows the use of thinner material.

No pics installed as the 2.0L guys have yet to get theirs. They have their own thread though so keep an eye on that. They should start popping up by the end of the month as that's when they'll have them.

so the main purpose of these plates are to cool the air that comes to the manifold? so maybe 2-3hp gain? with rrms manifold, will it do the same but better? do you have to keep you orginal? if trying to cool the air why not nos?

it keeps all the intake manifold, throttle body and intake piping cooler as there is no heat soak from the motor block. WIth the stock manifold gasket the heat from the block goes all the way up to in the intake and makes all the air coming into the motor much hotter. THis spacer replaces the stock gasket and stops most of the heat from the engine block from heating up the intake manifold, TH and intake piping. COoler temps on the intake means more HP. If you use the RRM manifold without this it will get just as hot as before, This will help maximize the rrm intakes potential.
