I've heard good and bad things about the Weapon-R intakes. When I used to have the Cav, people would complain all the time about their fitment, and most often about the filter itself, which is made of foam.

I know Weapon-R touts their foam-filter design as "great", but the things I've read lead me to believe otherwise.

But yeah, let's see some actual parts made for a RALLIART. I for one will be furious if some dirtbags come up in here and try to pass off Lancer parts not designed for the RA as the real deal.

All this flaming is pointless... Lets look at the facts.

The RRM CAI is $230 (plus shipping?). The RRM model is specifically for the RA (and a nice product), and he has the pics to prove it. The Dragon is 145 + change. If you put a $50 K&N cone on the end (filter problem solved) total invested is <$200. Take the 30 bucks you just saved and buy some gas.

I might be interested if there were pics of this actually installed on a RA. I would like to see the fitment in the car. So, Prostreet, can you pony up some pics for us?

Thanks.

Weapon-R's website has no listing of any intake for the Ralliart. Pro-Street might have goofed and accidentally popped this in here, when he meant to do it in the reg. Lancer forum?

Not that I'm doubting they won't have an intake soon. I'm sure a bunch will pop up sooner or later. Just not right now.

All cool. I still don't trust them 100%, though. I could make an intake meant for a Chevy Aveo fit the RA with a hacksaw and some duct tape too.

I have the RRM CAI and I think its good. Why do we think the Injen will be better? Bigger company?
