What would the point be in installing these bushings?

The stock bushings are squishy rubber. Replacing them with solid pieces reduces the amount of "slop" in the shifter linkage. Makes it easier and quicker to shift.

Oh, these only apply to M/T cars, not autos.

Hey guys, go to the kartboy web site and under installation: It shows how to install the shifter bushings, shifter base bushings, and the short throw shifter.

You can get to this site thru the the 1st post by tom@kartboy where it says order link!!!

I just ordered the shift link bushings and the shifter base bushings. I already have the Works short shifter ready to install, but I'm waiting on a part from the dealer, because you can't take off the shifter cup without cutting it!

I'll post picz when I finish everything and comment on the install.

Oh yeah, I also ordered the Kartboy exhaust hangers to reduce slop because when I corner real hard, sometimes my pipes will hit the rear axel.
