ROAD/RACE Mivec Aluminum Flywheel

One of the heaviest flywheels we've seen in while is the stock Ralliart flywheel. So guewss what we now have an aluminum flywheel for Mivec Engine. Cuts abnout 10 lbs off of the stock one and comes complete with starter ring and all you need. Check out our website for details. It is on the site.

So can we get the numbers on this? What does stock weigh? We can figure out what this one weighs based on that.
Does it ADD horespower or does it just allow the engine to rev easier??

I will get some numbers soon. It does not add h.p. IT allow engine to rev much quicker because of the it reduces the rotational mass.

It depends on how they're drilled from what I understand. I've seen some companies use a lesser quality aluminum and they just drill the flywheel more to cut weight down. Thus sacrificing the structural integrity of the flywheel. Thats what i've seen anyways.

Some that are overly light and sacrafice structure. This flywheel could have been lighter but at the risk of reliability. We have a couple guys running over 300 h.p. with this flywheel. They have had no problems.

Not too hard....You need to unbolt your exhaust piping, fiddle w/ your front sway and drop down your transmission. Then ya have to crack it open and just toss in the new one. Nothing I'm sure you can't handle....hehe

I got the first flywheel today. I wish I had the stock one still around to compare to. This flywheel may be more that 15 lbs lighter. Do not quote me but I would lift the stock one with 2 hands and this one with one no sweat. We have one in stock right now.

Rock, you said you just got one of these in. Do you have another party manufacture these for you?? Kind of how Progress makes your springs and sway bar??
