My Car is Featured on Redline Tuning Site!! - New QuickLIFT hood kit - Pics Inside
Hey everyone I'd thought I'd share that we in the Lancer Community have a new product out for cars. It's a gas shock system that lifts the hood up by itself and lets you work on your engine without the hood prop being in the way.
The guys from Redline Tuning came to Omaha, NE last week installed these on my car, along with some others. Unfortunately I was in Phoenix, so I couldn't be there to ask the questions that I wanted to. The kit was just put on their site tonite so everyone should check it out and read about it to get a more indepth description of it.
They also did an install on my CF Trunk, for those of you with CF Trunks, which they should be selling also, I'll find out for sure. I'll take pics of that hopefully tomorrow night or Tuesday hopefully.
Here is the link the Lancer kit on their site:

Here are the pics, Enjoy
Let me know what you think

Hey Kareem-
Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I was finding out if they were gonna post the trunk setup on their site and it is now on there, here is the link:

It's awesome for people who have the CF Trunk because the torsion bars are to tight for the lightweight trunk plus these just look good in there also.
Here are the pics from the site.
Enjoy

do you guys reckon its worth it for the "elite" setup? or save my dough and get the normal one?

I'm not sure what the main difference is between them except one is a stainless steel setup and the other is just the black finish. I also think that the normal, which I have, has a 2 yr warranty while the Elite has a 4 yr.
It's mainly up to you...so far I'm really happy with my normal setup
