what to use

i want to put mesh grill on my bumper but have no idea what to use to keep it in place. i tried epoxy and bondo but it takes too long to dry. anyone know of a glue that dries instantly and is able to hold the mesh in place?

i've heard of people using good old fashioned super glue to hold it on there, but i don't have hands-on experience with it so i don't know for sure.

bondo takes too long to dry???? Ok, granted you are in chicago and its cold right now, right? but even then it'll harden within a few hours if its in colder temps.

Try making a small batch of bondo at a time and put alot of hardener in the mix take the small batch and place it where you need it then take a blow dryer and heat it up a bit. That should do the job for you.

Anything worth doing right is worth the time it takes.

I made my own mesh grill for my ken style bumper. And I used stuff called plastic cement, you can get it at any auto parts store. It worked real well and the bond is super strong. It is not an instantaneous fix though, takes like 15 minutes to cure completely. Ghostrider is right though, take your time on it. What I suggest is taking the bumper off ( it isnt that difficult) and then you can fit the mesh to the bumper real well. Once it is in place. Put the cement on it, and then just put some books on top of it until it sets completely.
WARNING: if you use the stuff I am talking about, YOU WILL GET HIGH!!!!!

Now thats what i'm talking about, *Runs to buy some* lol j/k, i can't stand strong smelling crap, makes my head hurt, i would bondo it, use a hair dryer to help it harden if it is cold outside, or take the bumper off and do it in the house.
