DONE!!! Custom Lancer Head and Tail Lights to Look Like MR's *PICS*
Well they are finally done! I finished converting my stock lancer headlights to mean looking MR style headlights, but mine have a few extra's like angel-eye's and HID's. A few weeks ago I started a thread to see what people would think of making a taillight that looks like the MR's for the regular lancer and I had some pretty good results. I have since then converted my DEPO tails to MR style ones.
Check them out and lemme know what you guys think...
Before (left) and After (right) amber was added front shot:

Far Shot of all front and rear lighting finished after all mods...ready to install:
Lemme know what you guys think!
As Always,

better picxs would maybe do it justice....not trying to be an ***....but the orange strip on the headlight looks too orangey...and not amber like..and the same goes for the rear tail...did you actually open it up?...or are they just overlays?

They are actually in there final step now. They are getting clearcoated over the amber to make it permanant. I had a more transparent orange on them, but with the black housing they looked more like a redish, so I decided to go with this Translucent amber... not really the USDM amber, but more of a JDM or UKDM amber color to them, I think they look nice. Thanks for the questions though.
Oh and about the pics, I need to use my new digicxam instead of my camera phone next time....i just got it as an early x-mas gift.

OK. I didnt mean to insult your intelligence, but wanted to post it up more for informative sake for everyone else who doesn't know.
The material is a vinyl Translucent which mean that light passes through it, like the amber in the evo, and during the day it is solid with slight transparent characteristics, so it doesn't just look like orange tint thrown on the lens.

I wonder why you didnt install it before you took pix. I mean it only takes literally 5 minutes to install.
