Not really, you can't just peel this off. And it has all the characteristics of real CF...not just a print

I think what he was wondering is if the door is made entirely of CF, not just an overlay, no one said it was a print

Yeah I mean if it was the entire door made of CF then it'd be kinda cool, but if its just a stock door wrapped....its just the same as a sticker, but its real! WOW!

To anyone who remotely thinks that wrapping any part in real carbon fiber is the same thing as putting a sticker on it........

I'm not stressing it, I don't expect everyone to like it just hate that some compare it to stickers that can be bought for $5.00....I'm the biggest advocate against Fake CF. Oh well, can't please everyone and I'm not gonna try....
I like it and I know some others do to and that is all that matters to me

K heres the best analogy, if I take my stock hood, and wrap it in CF, do I have a CF hood? No I have a stock hood with a bunch of extra weight on it. Jeez, seems like as soon as people see the word carbon fibre they go about jizzing themselves in glee.....

ok, the point of carbon fiber is lighter weight pieces, how is adding it on top of a piece of metal anywhere close to cutting weight? I can see the point of a hood, or a trunk, as those are large piece where you can save some weight by replacing them with CF parts. but a fuel door? You want my honest opinion? It's fugly, it doesn't match the lines that he has put on his car, sticks out like an ugly *** sore thumb

I'd have to agree with twardOZRally on this one, just not my style and seems like a waste of money.

Here's my reply to this.......They sell CF hoods for the purpose of weight savings and I'll have one of those soon enough. I already have a CF Trunk also. The "weight" added to the stock fuel door is about .05 ounces. If you want to counter-act that I'll take a few CD's out of my car.
Once again, This was not done for weight savings, it was done for the cosmetics of it and if the .05 ounces slows me down oh well

I commented on the looks as well as what I see as a waste of money. CF can look good in the right place and on the right car, the hood a great place, the trunk a great place, having a CF knob on your dash, useless, having a CF, overlayed door, for me, useless and fugly like its been hit with the ugly fruit too many times and then pushed out of the ugly plane, hitting every ugly cloud, and landing in a field of ugly trees.

Quick Reply: More CF, Imagine that huh???
