looks great.. i must say i was skeptical but it looks great... oh and an idea paint the bottam peice yellow to match car and leave top to match the vynal. would look awsome and clean inmho.

 

Thanks Pick a Fro- I still have to get it 100% aligned but for the most part it's on there staright....I'll probably paint the inside black so there isn't as much notice of it. Thanks again Man

Good idea Pick! Thank God I wont have to worry about that with my car being TG and all.

 

I've thought about that....If I can find someone to paint the bottom with a transparent yellow paint so you can still see the weave then that's the route I'll go....

I just recieved this same gas door for my birthday from my girlfriend.. I like it alot. I'm waiting to put it on in the spring along with my eyelids and evo grill. I love the look of carbon fiber. Even though it is molded to the side of a OEM gas door it doesn't make a difference to me because it only adds about as much weight as if I would have ate an extra peice of bread for lunch. I'll make up for the "weight gain" when I install the fiberglass grill which is about half as heavy as the stock one. =D

We squashed this argument back when the thread started and I don't like having it brought back up and having the same thing start all over again....

First off: Holy crap! This thread got raped. I personally would have done something else with the money, but if you like it man, it's your car. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like the peice but for 80 bucks... I don't know. Your ride looks good though man. Keep up the good work.
