Looks good. HID's are great I don't ever want to own a car without them.
Thinking of getting an HID fog light kit.

 

I just got the H1 10K Hid kit for the JDM Headlights. They look hott. Its a Deep Blue Color.

 

I have a question. Why is it illegal to have HID kits? Why does it matter if they are purple? I can see why they don't want red or blue, but why purple? I was driving to work and a BMW had some bright *** purple lights. So whats the big deal if another car adds the feature to their car?

Looks good, I'm happy with my cheap silverstars, after paying for the lights and getting shipped up here would be like a grand canadian, too rich for my blood. I hate some of those civics with hids though, when they don't aim em properly, so for the love of God, point em down a little, like lookslikeanevo said.

 

Retrofitting (non-factory HIDs on a car that isn't supposed to have it) is illegal. It is pretty screwed up that luxury/high-end sports car can get away with having HIDs because it came with the car. If the factory can put it on cars, why can't we . I don't get how the laws don't apply to them.

sirlancelot, those are better pics. They look more 6000K then ur first pix. Ur first pics looked more of a higher temp.

 

those HIDs look sweet. for anyone that like their silverstars, there are a lot of better direct replacements for about the same price... (pics in link)

i currently have catz galaxy white (my last pair was silverstar). absolutely love them.

 

so how does the cop know if they came with the car or not?

 

i would say by his general knowledge of what cars do have them available...ive had mine for like 5 months now and never had any problems...as long as they are aimed properly i dont see why you would get hasseled...i think i have 6000k mcullach that i got for liek 300 bucks...ill try to get some good pictures tonight
