just last week i installed my Bomz Racing short ram.....and well let's just say i put it through a bit of a stress test.....

i'm trying to build a modest track car but i guess the bomz racing short ram is more show then go material...... the L bracket the came with the kit was so flimzy that under high stress and heat it just snapped and my car began doing the ol' stutter step......when i pull over and open my hood i see my filter hanging by the mass senser wire and when i saw that it explained my engines strange and unexplained problems....

well rebraced and and with my ecu reset i'm back up and running....so i guess i'll be taking a trip to the hardwar store and picking up some thicker braceing peices

 

I'm not sure if this belongs in show and shine but I'm glad to hear you are running again. Is the intake your only mod? If so you're not going to see a big gain from adding an intake.

youll get a good sound improvement with an intake not much else.
