ATTENTION ACCOLADE, mad customer.

I am extremely dissapointed with the quality of the body kit that I purchased from you. First off, every single panel of PFRP (bumpers and sideskirts) has major cracking, and is requiring a lot of extra prep work. Secondly and most importantly, the hood is in such bad shape it's not even close to being funny. There is MAJOR cracking along the seams of the hood (extremely hard and labour intensive to fix), the hood latch is rusted, and it doesn't even fit properly. I was just at the body shop today and took some pictures. The guys at the body shop can't even believe how bad the hood is On top of it all, the hood sits up 3/4" above fenders at the back and we don't know how to solve this problem. The back of the hood is falling on the cowel panel, so there is no way that the hood will sit any lower at the back.

I will attach some pics for you to see the mess that I'm dealing with.

I have always received excellent customer service from you guys (Dave in particular) and I have always let my high opinion of your service be known to others on the forum.

Any help resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Scott Johnston.

Why don't you PM them directly. BTW it is very rare for a body kit to not need some kind of prep work done to it. I ordered a kit from VIS and it was missing the most important part of the kit........the lip that attatches it to the car. I haven't seen one yet that didn't need prep work.

Wow, that hood looks like crap though. Split right on the edge. I would definitely say something about that.

this is comming from me personally not the company. to fix the hood, "v" out the cracks and use 8115 panel adheasive in the crack. its made by 3M and i trust it with my life. You need to let it sit for 24 hours, or if your lucky and have a heat gun around, give it heating and cooling phases, about 10 time. that will adhear it fast! then it sands like bondo. ( bondo = more or less body filler ). as for the latch, see if you can get a replace ment. for the fitment issue, make sure that both bolts are tight. the number one thing that people forget is to tighten the bolts... if you want some more help IM me any time or PM.

im pretty sure that when somebody buys a body kit they shouldnt have to do work on the kit just to make it right it should come from accolade ready to be put on with no fitment problems

holy hell that looks like ****, that makes me reconsider buying a back bumper from them that they want over 400 dollars for anyways, i mean thats 400 bucks, not shipped, and then im going to have to basically get it rebuilt when it looks like that. then painted, so i just bought like a 1 thousand dollar rear bumper, i think not!

the cracks are mostlikely from shipping. Dave wouldn't allow a hood to leave looking like that.

TeamAccolade, I hope your gonna do more than just tell him how to spend more money and fix it! If you guys are trying to make a better name for yourselves then hope your try to help him. Especially when you are running that special for the EVO7 bumper and hood kits.

I can't believe that you told him to get a NEW hood latch......Why didn't IT come NEW.

These are reasons why I am hesitant about getting your kits.

Don't get me wrong, I think they all LOOK great.....but its not worth it if you gotta dump triple It's cost just to have it put on and Fabricated to fit right.

P.S. If THAT happened during shipping then you should definately wrap'em better.
