heres a question: can you keep the stock plastic diamond grill stuff there if you get type1 lip? or does that have to go and if we need it, replace it with some other mesh

reason i ask is because type1 is sexy, but for the intercooler-less, that gapping hole might look awkward

no you cant keep the stock diamond mesh, the new hole is larger and the stock mesh wouldnt cover it all.

yep, but the instructions recommend you spray the radiator support black so it doesnt look crappy. it does come with highflow mesh and you can still use the factory plastic mesh on the side, but not the middle

Hey, I have it and if you don't have an intercooler paint the radiator support black. Trust me, it makes a world of difference. Also, I had some problems with the 3m tape staying put but I think it was because I did mine in the winter. I just redid it a few weeks ago and have had no problems since. The lip is definately worth the $$ though.

damn marc those pics in the daylight look nice. that lip is real clean, it doesn't even look so bad that the side holes are small still, but u might consider doing something with them. That looks really nice tho.

like the driver side one open for more air to hit the filter and the passenger side open for an oil cooler?
