I have 20% on the front and 5% on the back, tho I am going to change it to 35% in the front. Can you believe Arizona Highway Patrol pulled a tint meter on me?

 

i even saw one mirage with tint on the whole front windshield of his car now that is sometin illegal

what's wrong with having dark tints anyways? it protects us from harmful uv rays and stuff but i don't see the point why it's illegal on most states?

 

beacuse part of every 24 hours is night, it's dark at night, not being able to see out of your vehicle is a safety hazard

 

that's true well but since i don't drive the protege that much at night only daytime and i drive mostly the oz so im pretty ok with my 20%

 

Also, its for the safety of the officer. Some punk could be pointing a gun at his head and wouldn't be able to see it.

 

yeah i drive with my front 2 windows down. It costed me 120$ with lifetime warranty. Free removal and another 40$ if i want it put back on agian. Im in socal.

 

Looks nice, i have 20% on my Yellow Lancer also, it looks really really day at times, but its the bright yellow paint i think...

i have a note, and i get out of tickets ALL the time. I got pulled over yesterday again, and i didn't get a ticket.

Lucky! I asked some of my doctors and they wouldn't give me one. They said state cops have been after them lately for handing out so many. Just try to ask them for one saying you have sensitive eyes toward sunlight. Oh well.. a cop already made me scrape my dark tint off while standing in the middle of the road. I just went with clear yellow window film since it is very vague and says "No colored tint restrictions" for the state of michigan. I keep the tint laws in my glove box incase they pull me over I can shove it in their face.

 

my friend has a doctors note and rubs it in my face all the time b/c i had to change my window tint because of the poooolice.

 

I've been pulled over 10+ times for tint on my front windows in so-cal, until the last cop was an *** and wrote me up for it.
