Hood Antenna Completely Removed, FLUSH...
just like the title says... I'm wondering if there is any way to remove the antenna without having to put on another shorter one in its place instead as an alternative or can it be completely removed. Maybe a plactic cover or something was/is/is going to be made that can go in its place, getting rid of the antenna, and still allowing radio capabilities etc. have at it evom...

i think thats $$ bro.. u wanna move the antenna on the roof?? to under the hood or somewhere hidden? lol i thing ur gonna have to patch the hole in ur roof... run wires everywhere... a custom shop can pull it off for u. but damm that sounds like a big job and alot of $$ for such a little thing.

yeah its very possible, and the cost shouldnt be to much either. im not too sure of their webpage, but AutoLoc has hidden antenna kits, i remember seeing one advertised in a mag with their suicide doors, vertical doors, etc. I cant remember how much, but it may be a little more than you are looking for, but check it out.

you can totally shave the antenna, its not hard. u dont have to run any wires either since you would be deleting it. but if u still wanted the use of your radio, alot of the aftermarket headunits especially the ones with Gps, they come with there own antenna that sits on the dash that way u wouldnt have to worry about good or bad reception
