hey guys and gals. quick question, if anyone still reads this thread, will that halo gauge cluster off ebay fit and work properly in a 2003 es?

 

Yes, it will fit...as for working properly, you have to make sure you get that thing tacked down good with some kind of adhesive. If you don't do this then it will eventually ( or from the start) cause interference with your needles because of rubbing. If you get it held down though, it should be no problem.

 

really? do you think so? but then again.....i was looking at the gas gauge and the temp gauge and it looks like they're facing different directions. is that a problem?

 

Why don't you just look for Z lancer man, he has gauges that work perfect with our car

 

Upgrade that ugly cluster to an OZ's or Evo's.

 

Z Lancer Mans gauges look nice but I'm looking for something different. mmmmm upgrading the cluster sound enticing. do you happen to know where i can procure an OZ cluster? lol

i purchased these off ebay and hooked em up and damn do they look hott!! Deff worth the money and wow what an improvement!

 

For those who got the OZ gauge and then bought the indiglo gauge inserts, how do the OZ needles light up against the new indiglos? Do they light up enough to sorta match the red of the indiglo red? Will replacing the bulbs behind the gauge to red improve the brightness of the red? I've read that putting LED's will not disperse the light well but will it light up the needles nicely???
