where did you mount your underbody lighting?

where did you mount your underbody lighting?
so heres the deal...i decided 2 put a set of streetglow 7 color l.e.d. lights under my car(jst because i like it thats y) and for the sides i mounted them by the screws that held on the side skirts...well heres the prob...my cars not lowerd and when u get low enough or farther away, u can see the tubes... my question is how did u mount yours and can i simply mount them further bak or wht?

I'm not like others that bash this sort of thing; but one thing I hate to see is a poorly mounted neon tubes (obvious ones you can see). If I had done this already I would inform ya, but sorry I've not yet.

tuck them up inside the sideskirts if you can, itll look more professional and almost everyone seeing your car with the lights on is going to be further away and probably making fun of you for a bad install job.

well i didnt mean INSIDE the sideskirts, sorry i spoke badly, i mean ty and tuck them up into the underbody of the car as far as you can, also aside from making it look better it will protect the lights a bit more, if you can see the actual tube under the car that means you can hit the tube if you go over something the wrong way or bottom out.

ok bare with me here cuz my termanology is gonna be bad but i used the screws from the side skirts(so i didnt have 2 drill) and its rigth behind the side skirts and that before tht lil beam goin down the car(ill try to get a pic) but its not jst hangin there the skirt is lower than it and that lil metal runner on the underside of the car is lower than it....

one of my biggest pet peaves is when i can see the tube.. if ur gonna due it, tuck it up in the ss or find a way to hide it.. it just looks rediculous when u get underglow and you can see the tube... ERRRRRG
