BrianDaBox - you are right. Thunder Grey is the only color i actually liked the chrome color on the grill for .. but i decided to get rid of it, as I probably won't have any chrome accents on my car. So i decided to paint the whole thing.
I sanded the chrome grill .. covered w/2 coats of primer and then 3 coats of "metallic grey (medium)" and then a few coats of some clear finish.
Did pretty much the same w/the grill inserts .. sanded, primed and painted. I was more careful on these as I didn't want any runs and wanted the whole grills to be painted right. It looks pretty good I think. Thanks for the comments guys.
btw - i actually painted the chrome part of the grill 3 times before it was how I wanted. did once, used paint thinner to remove, did a 2nd time, then sanded and then re-painted to get the end results. Damn im glad im done with it. :P
