No way man. 18's look fine on a Lancer and on my 2G. Gotta be lowered though. Some of the kitted ones actually make 18's look like 17's.

agreed... it wouldnt make sense saying that 18s are too big for a sedan. if a roadster or a coupe had 18s then i would agree that 18s are big due to the fact that the car is smaller than ours. performace wise, it would have to depend on the car then

17s= daily driven, not track used
18s=show use...

I've never bent any of my 18's, and the total size of the wheel and tire 215/35/18 is actually the same size as the factory 14 inch rims and tires. I think maybe it's about a 1/2 in taller but that's it.
