Awesome looking Lancer.
I never thought of anyone doing a 4G64 swap, interesting. Did you keep your stock transmission? The '64 doesn't have much in the way of N/A mods either, but I'm sure you are happy getting 20 more hp and 20 more torque. Do you know what the donor car was? What ECU are you using?

This 4G64 is from (surprisingly) a DODGE STRATUS SXT!! and the engine is rated at 150HP so thats a gain of 30HP and I believe its something like 162 ft lbs of torque. So I have a good amount of HP gain on the swap alone. PLUS all off the bolt ons that I put on it...DC Headers (4-2-1) w/ no cats and a 2.5in exhaust piping to a Magnaflow Exhaust. I tried to put the Lancer CAI, but alas...it didnt fit...neither does the Eclipse CAI...so I ahve to get one custom made. I do however, have the RRM SRI and tha is working just fine! I also have the AEM Pulley Kit and CAM Gear, plus a Crower CAM Shaft for my snail that will installed in a few months. I am using the Eclipse ECU and Harness...but surprisingly...there IS ALOT of N/A aftermarket support of the 4G64. Add to all of this a Venom 400 PCM and I can say that I am EXSTATIC with this swap!!!!

the swap totaled out to $885 (in labor). I got the engine for $450.
and I didnt come accross many problems...just locating accessory parts for the engine (as it didnt come complete). I am using the Lancer gears w/ the Eclipse Bell housing (just to avoid headaches).
for those of you in or around the Las Vegas area on July 15th...I'll be at the Extreme Autofest car show at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (hey, I had to plug my show)
