Me too. I am new to this engine swap stuff but I would like to have it done. Cheaper and more reliabe than a turbo, not as much power but it has more potential and aftermarket support than the g94. So what all was done to the transmission? You auto or stick? Man that would be sweet to have this swap done to my car while also converting to manual. Oh yeah, what about the ecu? One more question, what kind of problems did you run into along the way, like electrical stuff, harnesses, and mounting?

the FIRST reason why I went about this is because I (and my "sensai" mitsu_mike) wanted to show the tuner world that the US LANCER IS WORTH A DAMN!!! and is highly over looked!!! with this swap...its just as tunable as the civic!! plus...in the begining I only planned on boostin to 7 psi...easily (and i would own soooooooo many cars out there and they would be like "WTF"!!??!! hahaha.

anyway...i have a 5 speed OZ Rally. as for the tranny...the lancer tranny doesnt mount up...but...the gears ARE interchangable!!! so all you need is the eclipse's bellhousing. and as far as the ecu and harness...there are only like 2-3 wires in difference (i am using the RS ecu vs. the GS ecu) and the only mount that had to be fabricated is the passenger one...the others...well only the front and rear mounts are from the lancer the driver's side is the eclipse's mount.

p.s.
i am getting a 60 trim snail and mani for $150...so that plus another 4-500 bucks and I got me a turbo kit for less than a piggy and header!!!hahahahaha... dude, i swear i dont get tired at laughing about all of this...its so easy to upgrade this engine now!!! FOR CHEAP!!! thanks everyone for ur props on both my car and this swap! i'll be posting some more pics after this weekend.

is it true that this engine mated with a g63 head and built(possibly stroked?) bottom end can take insane boost?
