most ebay stuff is crap, i would be very careful when buying stuff on there, doesnt even have to be for cars. lol
i heard of one guy who paid $400 for a photograph of a Xbox 360 cos he didnt read the small print.
Something as major as a hood i would not buy from ebay, just pay the extra money and get it from a replutable company.

A lot of the automotive parts sold on Ebay are generic items that could be used on over 50 cars and will cause you to do custom fabrication. I have bought used AEM, ///RRM, and etc. which has worked out very well; very cheap too. If it's not a name-brand repreplutable company don't buy.

Only generic thing I would buy would probably be a set of rims.... I figure as long as they are a/ dual 4 bolt, and b/ good looking, who cares the name. Be it AR or Konig, yes, you get what you pay for, but as long as it comes up to snuff with safety and quality, then it's all for looks. That and the rags I'd use to clean the tires... LOL

haha, now that I think about it, i did get my black konig heliums on ebay.....hahaha, took hella long to get them, but eventually I got em and dood gave me somewhat of a discount as well. you also gotta worry about the sellers on there too, they could be selling name brand stuff, but they can be shady and just take yer money. hasn't happened to me....yet (knocks on wood) but I know some peeps who have been ripped off on ebay.

I almost got jipped for my laptop through one of those Nigeria scams on eBay. It was funny.
Anyway, I buy alot of stuff on eBay. My Progress springs, JDM Cedias, Injen intake, DC exhaust. It all really depends on you doing your research about the seller. If they have more than 98% Positive feedback with a bajillion sales, I buy from them. But if it is less than that regardless of how many sales they've had, I don't. Simple as that.

yeah, cedias are easy to pick up on there from the one seller that seems to sell them all. as for new sellers, I love the guys that have ZERO sales history and are trying to sell hoods and other expensive parts with photos from the factory's website....
