Evo Back Seats In A Lancer?!?
#3
Yes they will. I have an OZ with the back seat off an Evo and fronts too. You would just have to take both lower halfs of the seats (Stock one and Evo one) to a welder. There are 2 Metal pieces that need to be copied from the stock seats to evo ones so that the seat clicks into place into the body of the car. Should cost no more than $20. Thats what I did. And it fits perfect. And for the Back Upper half there are 2 metal pieces that screw off that are in the trunk of the car. Just remove them and thats it bro. You have yourself some back seats installed...

but its hard to find the evo seats for cheap AND in good condition. most cheap ones are for sale cause they ripped or something. and the good ones are like $900 or so. But they look awesome and fit

Shoot i saw some evo rear seats in the f/s section a few weeks ago for 1200...theres no way. You should just refab like amby said. 900-1200 is a good amount of money for some performance parts rather than seats. Unless your going for show but hey your money

You have to take into account the price of the seat and the price of the fabrication. Even if you get a really good deal (like 200$) on a seat, you'll still end up spendin 220$+ just to have evo back seats. I'm sure you could get the back seats reupholstered for cheaper than that. Also, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm always hesitant about undertaking hack and weld jobs, simply because unless you pay the big bucks, it will never be as good as stock.

Hey if you could get them for a good price I say go for it and do it. No hacking at all.. Your going way too into this thing bro. 2 simple welds and call it a day... and it does fit as good as stock I should know I have them installed on mines... But it is true.. Its wayyyy cheaper to just reupholster the stockers...
