My 03' OZ Lancer... (future rallyX project)
Hey guys and gals! Here are some preview pics of my 03' OZ Rally Lancer! I was hesitant to post them because you've all seen a stock OZ Rally before but oh well...
I love the Phoenix Red color! It looks so clean!
Representing the Utah Rally Group!
I am going to race the Utah Rallycross Series with it this season so no exterior mods besides some eyelids, EVO VII style grill, and some Sparco rally flaps. I have a K&N panel filter in it now with a 3" induction pipe but I just ordered a SRI to replace that setup! Other future mods include: RRM rear sway bar w/ perches, RRM strut bars front and rear, KYB GR2 struts, Custom light bar w/ 4 ProComp lights, Sparco rally flaps, and some other odds and ends along the way. Let me know what you think!

Good luck dude. I currently race auto-x in the SCCA's Las Vegas region and i LOVE it.
Your stuff looks tight and red is a great color. I have just really found it so hard to keep clean.
Look forward to hearing how things progress. Keep us posted

Thanks! And I didn't know the OZ models had KYB struts. Do you know how they compare to the GR-2's? Or are they the GR-2's? The only reason I was thinkin about getting the GR-2's is cause their damping rate is ~20% stiffer then stock and that would help out alot in the rough stuff. Thanks for the info though!

Car looks clean....not sure about the WRC sticker though.
OZ do not have replacements shocks as of now...only replacement you guys can have is coilovers which is worth it in my opinion.

KYB's website says they make the GR2's for the OZ Rallys. I have seen them for sale on andysautosport.com too. I want to stick with the simple strut/spring combo over the coilovers because I don't need all the adjustments and bells and whistles the the coilovers offer. And I don't want to drop it any. I will probably upgrade the bumpstops to some ES polyurethane ones though. And thats not a WRC sticker, its a URG sticker.
