You get what you pay for. If you buy a cheap kit, it'll look and holdup like a cheap kit.

kungfugirl says it wont last because of the lip sticking so far out. I have a ken style kit, Im lowered and I scrape it, hit inclimbs and cant use any kind of ramp because it sticks out so far. This kit here sticks out three times as far as the ken style. I cant imagine driving around with that lip.

RRM makes a full CF version of this kit I believe. Ive seen one lancer with it and I thought it looked ok. This isnt a kit you slap on a stock looking lancer or a lancer with just wheels. It needs to look like a show car to support the looks of that kit I think.

As for fiberglass.... Just search. In automotive kits, the fiberglass used is usually cheap and not thick. One hit to the road from a dip or hitting a animal or incline will trash the bumper. It is also prone to cracking and the usual spider cracks in the paint. I have accolades new material which is fiberglass with a plastic mixed in. It has survived a few scrapes but plain fiberglass kits in general are very weak.

Hope that helped some.

Definitely. So I actually kinda like the look of your kit. Are there any others besides evo 7 that are similar to this gt-rally? I guess its not the lip i like so much as the huge air dam in the front. I really don't care about quality like I said. I can get quality coatings and whatnot from monaco that we use on the coaches.

Go to Accolade's site. IMO a huge air dam only looks good if you have an intercooler in there (I know you're getting one Bryce so your car is fine).

Yah, no. We don't get snow in Oregon. We get really cold rain.

I ordered my ken style (ksport front) from accolade. Check out www.body-kit.com for accolades kits. They have a buncha styles. The use a stronger material, like fiberglass but supposed to be more flexible and stronger.

Also check www.roadracemotorsports.com in the dressup section. They have a few kits.

I personally am a fan of the big lip. And I seriously think every other bodykit I have found is ugly. This is really the ONLY one I have found that I like. So all I want to know is if itll hold up?
If u like it, then buy it but it would be recomended to give it couple more layers of fibeglass to the complete kit. specially the front cuz it will scrape almost every where.

Since you seem more concerned with function than form, i'll second the suggestion of adding some fiberglass to it if you get it, that stuff will be put through hell. Think of driving around with a fiberflass tub surround as your bumper inches off the ground, it won't last long unless you take some precautions.

What's the function of the kit, to act as a snow plow and gravel remover for the city?

He seems to be arguing the function as looking good. Whether it is or not seems to be purely subjective
