"Since you seem more concerned with form over general sense of taste, i'll second the suggestion of adding some fiberglass to it if you get it, that stuff will be put through hell. Think of driving around with a fiberflass tub surround as your bumper inches off the ground, it won't last long unless you take some precautions."

Yah, that does look alot like the oz rally anyway. So I want to retract my previous statement about the evo 7 kit being ugly. I had apparently been looking at the evo 5 kit. Which is ugly as hell. I understand what everyone is saying about it holding up. Good thing I asked before I bought. I'm thinkin I'm gonna go with the evo 7.

Damn, sucks. So are you guys basically saying fiberglass is a no no? I mean what about those of you that have reinforced the fiberglass? My civic friend actually put a steel frame that stuck behind the bumper and was welded onto the frame or somepart of his car. The kit was bolted to it and then custom fiberglassed to cover the bolts. He didn't have virtually any flex at all. There are quite a few scratches on the bottom of the kit, couple chunks taken out, but he hasnt really had any probs with cracking or spider veins that I know of. And his kit was 400 bucks on ebay. However, on the other side of that, the kit did come with a couple of veins in it which he fixed. And the surface of it wasn't smooth either. Had a lot of dips. I mean that seems like quite a bit of effort to put into a kit to me but he loved that civic.
