So how about this. I went in for a respirator fit yesterday and the guy that fitted me happened to go to college for I think he said about three years for auto restoration and paint. He says hes a muscle car fanatic and hasn't done any work on imports but he's interested in them. He gave me a suggestion to use to reinforce the kit and I figured I would run it by you guys. Expanding foam. He said to just fill in the kit after I reinforce it with fiberglass, with expanding foam. I've used the stuff before to stop the rattling and whatnot associated with bass in my tempo. That was definitely one solid trunk. I thought it made sense and it would still allow for flex while absorbing impact. Whaddya think?
