Thumbs up My Custom Modified Stock Bumper for Larger IC (*No 56k*)

I had this mod done a couple of months ago, but haven't had a chance to post about it. Finally, for it's Internet debut, I present my custom modified stock bumper

I wanted a front bumper that allowed more of my intercooler to be exposed increasing the cooling effeciency. I also wanted to retain a stockish look. I have a good friend who works at a body shop and we figured out a way we could modify the stock bumper to achieve my desired look. This is the result and I think it turned out great. So, without further ado, here is my custom modified stock bumper

A big thanks to Mike for all the time you put into this for me

Wow it's like the RMR type 1 lip but cheaper and without the scraping.

I don't know what people are talking about, that intercooler looks pretty good for a lancer.

Almost looks like the stock evo intercooler. Stock evo size is about the biggest you need to go on a Lancer anyway.

Yeah amby. Now that you mention it. it is similiar to type 1 lip but doesnt stick out like that does. Looks great.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Just to eliminate any further debate, it is a stock EVO intercooler. If Mitsu engineers decided that for the 270+ HP Evolution should come with that intercooler from the factory, then it should be more than sufficient for my 220+ HP Lancer You should have seen what it looked like with the intercooler RRM included in the T28 IC kit!

...end tanks exposed just doesn't look good...if he could block them or mesh it somehow, however, tight work thus far.
