That location is where the EVO X will have its plate placement.
Assuming the final mold for the bumper remains the same as the other 2008 lancers the EVOLUTION X should be of the exact same fit mit for a bracket. When the official part is released by Mitsubishi then you will be able to get it straight from your dealer. * BEFORE THEY DRILL YOUR FRONT BUMPER. I made sure i was walking up and down that place when my car arrived to remind them not to drill my front, or they would be paying for a replacement. I put it in writting for them and handed it to the GM of the dealership.
sigh... thank god it worked out.
I slightly modified a plate I picked up and after a few more modifications i will attempt to make a few molds and see if anyone else wants one.
These bulbs are just short of going ultra high wattage above 100watts (draw) they come close enough to an HID look as you can get with regular bulbs. They have a stage two Artic White bulb which has a new blue hue to it...

To be honest if you want my opinion, I still have my mazda protege and I have the NOKYA Yellows in there, In canada they are legal to have either white or amber headlights *section 62 subsection 1 and 3 of the Ontario Highway act. and they are a nice intense yellow which is soft on yours eyes and other drivers around you.
I wanted something different for this car so i went with purple. They have another bulbs which is metalic coated, I am curious about them but didnt have a chance to check them out.
I highly recommend you get these bulbs from big box stores and stay away from the small time stores, there are alot of fakes out there that are painted bulbs instead of bulbs with color filters. there is a difference in color and there is a difference in how long the bulbs will last. so far the yellows are going for about a year. Check out vendors that have access to keystone catalogs. Driver FX is a good sight that plugs into that.
lol ok enough talkin. i hope that answered your question.
and thanks for the compliments guys. I hope to impress with the other stuff still in the planning stages

usually you can tell if it say stage 1 or stage 2.
you should be fine with the Yellows though.
my 2 cents...

If you dont think your getting a good deal give me a private message and i will set you up with the guys we dealt with at those dealership. But dont play around, i say a price and if they dont agree I go elsewhere, till i find one

you are correct they are not, I wouldnt expose my release plate and i thought it would be cheesy to black it out like it did in one of my pictures.
i have a regular plate, the cost of a custom plate of EVO SOUL was to expensive so i opted to debadge my rear and badge it that way with the name. they are about an inch or so in height so they will get more show then the plate.
