I'm not sure if I'm still happy with the gauge surround. It's only hanging on with double sided tape, just to give me the feel of what it'll look like. Thoughts?

Well, they're close up because I was cramped in with the door shut. Still raining outside. I was excited to put my new shift knob on.
I need to take a vacuum through before any full interior shots.

I dunno, now I feel like just bailing on the whole silver cf project. just get some coilovers, tint and a nice alarm and end spending my money on it. Oh, and a Lightrikz blue led dash guage kit to match my hvacs.
F it, I'll just get the long dash part wrapped to match, then work on this other stuff. I'm so confused.

def get the lightrikz kit. that is in my top 10 mod list. worth the low cost.
also you should finish up your interior, the silver CF looks nice, so get whatever else done to match.
then save up some cash for coilovers, you can get some Megans for $850.
But get your interior how you like it, cos thats where you spend all your time in the car, so it should be pleasing to the eyes.

I like the idea but regular cf would blend in better with the rest of the interior i think. I still think that shift knob belongs on an automatic .
My knob isn't counterweight though, so yours probably runs through the gears better than mine. Authority shift knob ftw though!
edit: i'm really curious, how did you work on the boot to turn it into the silver cf? Did you replace it all-together? It looks like you did a great job although like a said, regular cf woulda been a bit more subtle
