BODYKITS.com Carbon Fiber Hood INSTALLED....Pics

so far only down fall i have discovered with this is that there isnt a hole for the hood prop up rod. I had to cut my own hole out, but i will point that out to bodykits.com that they should pre cut the hole.

over all quality and fitment 9 out of 10.

ease of install: 4 out of 10 it helps to have 2 people at this task.
HOOD PINS WILL NOT BE NEEDED AS OF NOW, I WILL TEST THE CAR TODAY AT 70 TO 100MPH

i like this design better than RRM ( no disrespect guys )it makes it more evo X look-a-like

There isnt a gap here, the hood its just not shut all the way yet

That looks really good. I like the bodykits one more than the RRM one. But both are very good looking.

testing the car at those speeds you will probably find that you will need hood pins. at the very least it's a good idea to have the pins just in case.

its pretty nice. I prefer the scoop to RRM's design., but the vents don't look as nice

it'd be cool to see someone do a combination on both

Why didn't they make the front "vents" functional? Leaving them closed just seems kind of silly ...

Bodykits would be cool if the vents were functional. I prefer rrm's for functionality and looks. Looks nice though man!

+1

they are pretty far towards the front though, so i can't imagine they'd do a lot anyway. which is why the RRM vents are better, they are right above the actual engine

Now that is a hood worthy of the 08 Lancer! What a thing of beauty.
