GENTLEMEN... BEHOLD!!! (voice of Dr. Weird)

Just need a new Carpet in Black.. if someone wants to help me out with that, it would be great

So I need to do the top of the dash in suede and the ceiling, etc.. but those can wait.
In general, the interior is FINALLY FINISHED!!!
I made the Double DIN for the monitor yesterday, let the bondo dry, and installed it this morning. You've seen the back seat, but Im'a throw in here anyway..
I basically used the original center dash piece (Thanx Incognito )
& filled in the holes where the knobs used to be, with bondo and popsicle sticks.
let it dry overnight, sanded it, put on some spray-adhesive and wrapped it in suede. TAS COMPLETO!!!

Now I wanna trade it in for an EVO 8 RS.

Whatch'yall think?

Is it just me, or can you still see where the indention was around the factory headunit openning?

Not bad all in all, but some details that stand out a bit. I'll zap you a pm with them, rather than point it all out on here.

Youre right, I got a little to eager to get-it-done, 'cus its been incomplete for a long time, so I didnt take the time to fill in the original head-unit outline.. I dont mind too much however. Im just happy its aesthetically-pleasing finally.
I also need a lower-radio peice, to surround the HVAC; but I look forward to reading the PM, and appretiate your tact

that interior looks really nice man! the black carpet will really set it off. since the es doors are greyish from factory so did u use black suede everywhere or did u do part suede part paint (if paint then what kinda paint?).

so. when you wrap the top of the dash in suede what do you plan on doing about the passenger airbag cut out? Thats whats holding me up from doing it.

Also since the top dash is suede, dont have the sun hit it all the time... it gets faded and looks wack, that happen to mine

The whole color scheme does not go.

Big *** Tach isn't cutting it for me. Like you need it

Steering wheel does not go with the car. Maybe the Evo one.

You got work to do. Finish the whole suede thing. Not my thing, but it might come out better.

BTW: finish the A/c Knobs. Looks crappy with the screws showing, etc

Right. Part Paint - Part Suede.
I took off the pannels to paint 'em.
I used Interior/Exterior Spray Paint. About 6 coats (periodically) of light dusting, and let dry.

Aside from the Tach, theirs only one gauge, its also in a common-place to have it.
Whys the Volt Meter over the steering column, bad, in your opinion?
I know about the Tach.
The thing is.. "Its Tachy."
Thats why I like it.. I find that humourous.
It doesnt even work. I need a Tach Driver installed still, but I dont, 'cus I dont even use it. I just like it there
Maybe one day, I'll install a Tach Driver, but for now Id rather spend 70 bucks on
gas, food, or cannibial-bliss instead ('cus I dont have many g/f's, if you get my joke.)

Im wondering the same thing.
I have to see how exactly it deploys.. and do more research.
I gotta find more people whove done suede tho.. Ive seen just a few Evo's on here. Also about fading.. I could just paint the top Black also, if thats what it comes down to.

The tach is just stupid IMO, especially if it doesn't even work. Every riced out civic has a giant tach, so take that as you want. As for the voltmeter, I don't personally see the point but that's not what I have a major problem with. Good luck selling it, not to be a dick but I would never buy a car that had an interior like that, I'd be worried that the person had done other things that they weren't telling be about among other reasons.
