Bodykit Or Front lip for my IC??? :)
ok so heres the deal. im boosting my car . Guna have a big old evo intercooler peekin through so i want a new front bumper.
im leanin tords the rmr type 1 cuz it looks really clean and keeps it stock lookin for the most part not to flashy ect.
but the thing is i need to get a gash repaired on my back bumper from a damn hit and run too. n thats guna cost at least 150 not including paint
so i was thinking why not sell my oz lip kit for like 200 and just get a hole body kit. cuz that will give me 200 to go tords the kit.
as im typing this i think i pretty much just solved my problem, but either way, what do you guys think i should do?

my front mount fit great behind the kaminarri from bumper. i just had to make some small indentations to allow room for the piping. when i had the ken style bumper i had to do alot of modifications to the fiberglass becuase of rubbing. by the way i have the rrm front mount so this could be completely different

oh great.. cuz i wanted to get the ken stlye, and the evo intercooler is even bigger than rrm's.. you have to take out the crash bar just for it to fit..

my crash bar is on but maybe you will have more room to set the intercooler deeper without it, avoiding all fitment problems. its been awhile since i had the bumper off but if i remember right the crash bar was the biggest restraint.

yeah im still thinkin about goin with the lip. cuz i used to have a ken style kit (was a crappy ebay one) but i sold it. but even still if i got a nice kit there are still fitting issues.
pluss i really love that lip its so clean and still almost looks stock
but if i could do anything and had a tone of money id go with the jdm front end

I think lip kit is the cleanest look. completely stock just blocks the intercooler way to much in my opinion. probably doesnt make any difference but I dont feel right blocking a IC that much. lol.
If your looking for a lil flash and open it up completely. Ken style kit or kaminari is my vote.
