My introduction..
Hey everyone i finally got some parts i really wanted so im going to start my own build thread To let you all know a little about myself.. Im Mike, 19, from Northern NJ and this is my first car that i got back in 2006 when i just turned 17. yes it is automatic lol. I must say i dump all of my money into my car.. well whatever i have leftover after the gf gets a hold of my wallet lol. Im a college student and i work part time to support my addiction to modding my car. When i first got it i must admit i did put some stupid "ricey" things on it but since then i have changed alot and learned alot from people on these forums and now im going for a more clean look. I must say if your buying parts dont cheap out and go the cheap route.. get everything done right the first time.. it saves you money in the long run. Anyway.. keep checking back i always have new updates and have them all listed ontop of this.

The rims have some curb rash and im going to try and get them fixed before i put them on and they also need new tires and the Lowering springs i decided only to put the front ones on because the weight of my subs in the trunk makes the back look lower already
heres a pic of the rims

I will have plenty of pics up next week when i install these parts but i do have pics on my cardomain if u want to check it out the link is in my Sig.

I appreciate whoever comes and gives their opinions all are welcome
and keep checking back

have a shop (or do it yourself) run compression checks on the cylinders. that should give you enough information to determine if the engine is healthy enough to boost it.

74K miles isn't a lot, but if you aren't the original owner then you can never know what really went on with the engine before you got the car. So it's best to have it thoroughly inspected before attempting to boost it.

The worth of 'boosting' is up to you ultimately. However, like many people have said on these forums, dollar for dollar boosting provides the best power increase of ~any~ mod you can slap on your Lancer.

yeah ive done my research and i know that boosting is the only way to get big HP gains so i guess after i finish everything in my signature i will get the compression checked on my cylinders to see if my car can handle the turbo
btw i am second owner
