what numbers are you expecting from the 2.4? a lot higher or slightly or the same?

also, is the turbo kit capable of being tuned to push more than the 205 208?

and this question is for anyone why can mitsubishis kit push 300 stock on the evo with the same engine build? will there eventually be kits that can do that or what.. 4 cylnders are so much diff than V6s

is the 2.4 better than 2.0 engine wise? know for a fact that the Evo engine components will never fit the bigger engine. Big up 2 luda for bringin up that question. will the 2.4 boosted engine make more gains?

So does the 2.4 engine mean that the 2.0 engine will be forgotten? Meaning, will the 08 CVT see a turbo setup?

i will try to answer all your questions.

1. stock evo X is 225hp stock so we arnt to far off that number, the reason that we cant go alot higher on the boost is that the stock lancer comp ratio is 10.5:1.

2. the 2.4 starts at around 164hp so it will be more power when boosted, similar to the old oz and ra hp difference.

3. i dont think the 2.0 will be forgotten, i mean we already have a ton of parts for that motor.

4. as we have stated COUNTLESS times there will be a cvt kit, it will come a bit later than the manual kit.

I usually detest green cars. But with just a turbo and a nice grill, I have to admit that the sleeper aspect really makes the car appealing.

Just remember an Evo is AWD so dont think the lancer will be able to channel all that speed around corners like an Evo without some serious handeling improvements

a few people at mistu corporate drove our turbo 08 and they said that it might be faster than the RA and it would cost less to build.

the evo has more traction but with traction comes all that weight from the awd system.
