4B11 Valve Cover
#17
Not sure if anybody is interested, but the question was mention by the O.P. I believe the valve cover and intake manifold are a high temperature composite like polycarbonate. And if the ugly plastic manifold kills your looks, just take it out and use aluminum paint to make it look better.
Looks good in red. Always loved the look of DOHC valve covers.

I did take off the valve cover to get the job done. It was very simple. If you need instructions, pm me. I'd be glad to let you know. I know the red looks like a K series motor but I have the whole graphite grey and red theme going on. I have a red "Spirit of Competition" sticker on it. I plan on getting some sort of Time Attack style wheels and having my calipers painted red. I plan on ordering the cf spark plug cover from RRM to set off the engine bay a bit nicer. First, I'm trying to get my hands on some nice wheels. It's just so hard to choose when you have limited but good options.

The 4B11T (evolution motor) wouldnt work the same. For one, we dont have that plastic spark plug cover. Our coil on plug sits pretty high, so even if we got our hands on that cover, it wouldnt fit. Having our spark plug wires exposed would give an Evo some ghetto flavor IMO..
