I finally found a place that sells the rear bumper lips separately without beating my wallet like it stole something from autozone.

I'm picking up a Kaminari lip for $269 plus $80 shipping, not bad when the stock lip from mitsu is $579 + ship.

thought i'd pass it on.

Yeh. www.rmrproducts.com has been selling the whole kit or each peice of the kaminari kit since the lancer came out. Thats where I got mine. Its a nice clean lip. I love it.

warning if you order from RMR. They didnt have mine in stock. Had to order it in from japan. It took quite a while to get. They may have gotten a few sent over but I dunno. Should e-mail them about it.


I just checked RMR's site. was curious on price and now I dont see kaminari stuff on the site. Maybe you can't get it through them anymore.

 

Yeah, I just checked there, too. They only list spoilers and wings. Oh well, guess the guys on ebay are the only ones. I'm going to order mine tomorrow

 

there is another site at least. I know a couple guys with it who ordered elsewhere. maybe they will chime in before you order.

I remember there being a few other kits a few years ago that would ftw, can't find any of them now. always hated the kaminari kit...felt like putting on jeans and a t-shirt and going to a formal dance...when what you need is something sleek, and tux-like:

I mean, the mitsus have a REALLY nice stock body to work with, you'd think there'd be more out there than evo kits that you have to custom fabricate to fit. I mean, I'd love to do that if I had a girlfriend at a body shop that wanted to show her love to me by pimpin my lancer, but reality is that I know a mechanic...and our love is beer, and whp.
