Your grill would make for a better pict than what we have on the site.

We tried the no muffler thing too. IT was loud. That is why we use good oval race series muffler........

the WORKS exhaust can be loud during city driving…but that all depends on the type of driver you are. i usually get my revs pretty high, so the first few gears are loudish.
on the highway, 5th gear, it’s not loud at all. if you have music on you’ll forget you even have it (until you downshift for a quick pass. lol)

you have the silverstar ultra bulbs. ive been looking at those as an alternative to all the wiring for HID, do they make a big difference in functionality and how your car looks?

id much rather get them than HID but i dont wanna pay for somethin that doesnt look or work any different than stock you know?

I think it looks really good. I'm impressed and even a little jealous that the new base Lancers can look that good with so little done to them. The wheels are smaller than I like, but the clean and classic Volk-like look of them seems to make the small size seem like not that big of an issue. Good job.

hey man, i went with the silverstars because i’m the same way, i don’t like messing around with the oem wirering and the silverstar ultras are guaranteed to work with oem outputs. my advice is, get the lowbeams for sure, they look so much more white and crisp and the light distribution is really good! the highbeams, don’t bother…i only got them because i had nothing better to do. lol (yes they are much brighter, but you wont use them enough to justify spending the extra cash on them)

thanks bud! i agree that the wheels can look a little undersized, but the no lip style helps out a lot. i did plan on getting 17s next summer, but with the ride quality of the 16s, i don’t know if i want to bother upsizing. there’s no question that i’ll be getting new rims and tires for next summer (as the ones i have on now will be my winters)…it’s just that i have no idea what size i’ll end up going for.
