02 ES Paint Match
I was thinking of getting the Evo Grill from RRM
Just wondering if anyone knows of a rattlecan paint that will be a good match for the
stock 02 ES silver paint. Pretty small part as far as surface area to paint, since the bulk
of it is mesh. Didnt want to have to take it to a shop unless i had to.

I'm pretty sure there's a place online that sells paint for our lancers, but it's more touch up paint than anything else... as far as painting the whole thing... you're probably better off taking it to a shop... I know it costs more, but when it comes to your car sometimes you gotta bite the bullet. Plus I've seen many many failed attempts to paint body parts with spray... It's not worth the risk.

Ya i was pretty sure i was going to, just wanted to check first heh. A shop here in town quoted me $80 to paint it. Anyone here have this grill? Likes/Dislikes? Does it flex and cause the paint to spiderweb?

Get it color matched, it will look much better in the long run. You can find the paint code for your car under your hood and get a can custom mixed to match. Hard part for me was the clear coat though. I just ended up getting mine painted by a shop for 60 bucks. Try Maaco, it'll be a bit cheaper
