Installed Tein S-Tech springs!!! *for those OZ*

HEY! My stupid *** forgot to take before and after pictures! T.T

Install time took ~6.5hours, 2hours for the first right side, 15 mins on the left front, another 2 hours on the rear right side and 2 hours on the left (cause we had to take them both apart the same time)

I know there are alot of new members all the time, or people who are wondering if they should put on S-Techs on O.Z. * I have no problems, no rattle noises, no strut problems or any of those nightmare stories. Install is very simple, just long. Make sure when you install them, that the springs go into the grooves of the previous springs.(i may to a how to install

*They say its a 1.7 drop front, 1.1 rear. People say and complain that this is tooo low. WRONG! Its just perfect, the ride is alittle bouncy, but that is because the springs are stiffer, handling is great. For those who dont know what handleing is basically its when you turn your car dosnt bend to one side, it stays level making you feel more comfortable on turns. Bumps are a little echoed but like i said, its cause the springs are stiffer. Not a bad thing atall these springs, i love them and i just neeed an alignment now :P

kinda wish i had done an alignment before to see how bad they were in the first place, lol my install made them better

***I will put up a video later showing my clearance of objects, to help these guys who want to know just how low it is. *****

MoDiFicatIOnS( I dont give a bumper for performance, but i do love cars and i know alot about how fast they go and how many gs they can handle)

02 mitsu lancer oz, 40k miles. ex race car. had the car for about 11 months now,

I tried to do this is order
1. K & N air filter, got me better gas milage i get around 28-32 for some godly reason that still amazes me.
2.Lancer decal on back, its supose to go on front but i like it on the back windshield instead.
2a. N1 Muffler exhaust
3. 3rd brake light that reads lancer at night, i put it on and off sometimes
4. Stick shift boot change
5. Tinted windows, all rear is 5%, no lower than legaly 30% but they dont care, they should be pulln over speeders!
6. Seat Covers
7. Yellow Panted interior
8. 7 L.E.D lights, red blue yellow cyan purple green and white.
9. Painted Calipers, on accident lug nuts ;D and stock grill
10. New headlights, sylviana or wahtever
11. Fog lights installed, metled the stock mesh omfg ill kill them
12. mp3 fm modulator
13. Tein S Tech installed with the help of a friend
14. i am thinking about a body kit maby but for now i lov my cars look

it dosnt look too low in the pictures but it was cloudy outside, and it rained right after i phkn washd taht

therefore i purpose law of gayness: If you wash your car, the probability of it raining outside increases

Lets see some pics!

But yea, I would suggest you get an alignment anyway, else your poor tires will probably wear like ****

You should always get an alignment after doing major suspension work like this.

Please post some pics, vids too. We really can't have too much info on mods for our car.

I've had s-techs for 2-3 years now and my shocks are still fine.

Of course it's not as good as coilovers though.

not bashin but i think since 03 people understood how rough the stechs were. there good springs but u pay for what you get . i first went ground controls. were ok... then stechs ...way better ..then to nex full coilovers. the best out of so far. with any lowering spring comes a bouncier ride for fact shorter height needs stiffness if not then cut your stock spring have same ride with worse consequences. i think a video would be a lil out of hand. unless your showing a full view of sharp turns.

The drop looks good!
But the pin stripe hood and bumper is not needed. not to be a d*ck about it. you took the lancer oz badge off and but put a huge lancer sticker in the back like you wanna tell people its a LANCER. idk, it's just me but i think it would look much better with out it.
