well saying as my lancer is gone, i figured I'd do a time line thread showing all the mods I've done over the last 2 years.

Here are all the mods i did. Thank to www.SpeedCorps.com for providing most of these, and supporting my build

Custom Mesh grill, then replaced with JDM Ralliart grill
Custom painted carbon fiber evo style hood
lowering springs, then replaced with NEX SS coilovers
RRM piggyback, then replaced with ECUflash
N1 Catback exhaust
Enkei DM5 rims powdercoated
Megan Racing seats
Powdercoated Valve Cover
RMR Intake
Megan Racing oil catch can
Lower tie bar
Lightrikz red interior lighting
AFR and Vac/Boost gauge
Custom painted interior
Custom headlights, then replaced with Depo headlights
Evo Carbon fiber spoiler
16G turbo kit, but gave up on that

I sold the Lancer with 98,000 miles on the clock for $7,000.
and replaced it with this 2008 GTI. which cost me $23K incl, everything, $325/month at 0% for 72months.

i don't think I'll be leaving EvoM. It's to much fun. Plus it'd be a waste not to help other guys out with all the knowledge I've gained from working on the Lancer

GTI is fantastic. It's only a couple of hundered pound heavier than the Lancer. Except it is turbocharged and has 200hp. So it's A LOT more fun to drive. It doesn't feel "heavy", but it definitely feels more solid and planted to the road.

yeh i got offered about that on trade in also. But I sold it privately to some kid and got $7K for it. That way i had a clean slate and wasn't upside down in a trade in.
I just listed it on Craigslist and got a call a couple of days later on it. They test drove it and bought it
