do what i did, buy good parts, and spend time thinkin on what you really want, you dont have to be installing everythere right when you get it..
my turbo kit took me about 4 months to get all the parts that i wanted, (brand new)
and 6 weeks at a fab shop getting everything else custom built..
if you want fast, make it fast, dont limit yourself with something thats used and cheaper to get. im happy that i spent the extra on bigger, better, and brand new parts

Alright thanks, car is very nice man! looks awesome. And i have an 02 OZ and im thinking about putting a turbo on it. Any suggestions about what turbo would be best, and about how much did u end up spending on all the parts.

u can do a custom kit for under 2 grand off of all used evo parts, or you can spend more money on an RRM kit, or your own custom kit with a much larger turbo like mine.
if you go the cheap route and are able to do everything yourself, 2k is good estimate. but it might take a long time to gather all the parts for a good price. if you do a custom kit, and you get everything custom built like i did, you would be upwards of 4k easy.

Yeah i was thinking about the RRM, and that gives you everything you need right? And are there any others that are a little cheaper (i know you get what you pay for)I know if I get a turbo im going to do it right and hopefully get all new parts, or a brand new kit. Also how much would it be for a shop to put a turbo on my car, cuz i don't plan on doing it my self, im not that talented lol

sounds like a bunch of really open ended questions that i dont feel like answering, you should look in the forced induction section for Lancers, there is a noob thread that you can look through, cost on just an install of a complete kit i would assume would be about a grand, plus tuning. and yes a RRM kit or a tsi kit both come with basically everything that you need. i think the tsi turbo kit needs a little bit of modification but your given basically everything.
go to the tech section for lancers (For your year) and then the forced induction tech forum. you can get alot fo your questions answer from other peoples threads.. SEARCH button will allow you to answer most of your questions off of other peoples previos threads.

I bought a used kit a few months ago... it's got a T-28 turbo, most of the things needed, missing oil feed lines, a manifold, and a BOV. But the previous owner gave me no clue which pipes went where, how to install it or anything... so I've got a partial kit sitting in the garage but no idea how to put it on or what I need to make it work... :/
OT: We totally jacked this dudes thread and turned it into a Turbo discussion lol

thanks guys. The kit is a TSI kit. cant go over pricing b/c i was sponsored by them and turbo-kits. The kit did need some modification to make it work. I want more horsepower so im looking at buying another motor and building the motor. So the lancer will be going under the knife again.
