Probably my last Photoshoot

My time with my lancer is coming to an end. I should be getting a new car at the end of this upcoming semester around the summer time as long as i keep my grades up in college. Its been fun but the lancer never really lived up to what i wanted it to be. I wish i could be getting an evo but not yet. anyway im going to start taking parts off and returning it to stock little by little and probably parting out
please dont call dibs on my RMR lip just yet because if someone comes along i might sell the car as is. who knows. These are some pics i took last nite using my new lenses for my Canon Powershot A590IS with a lense adaptor so i was using my new fisheye and wide angle lense
enjoy.

oh and btw im looking at either getting a new Ralliart or an 08 VW R32
im going to test drive the R32 in a few mins. and im leaning towards that one
and i would feel really stupid if i end up having to stick with my lancer after this whole thread

nice choice

you should test drive the GTI too. for the same price as the R32 you can get a loaded GTI plus have money left over for a bunch of mods.....and better gas mileage

Ca looks really good, the front end is absolutely perfect. Can't you get the GTI in an automatic as well? Supposedly the flappy paddle gearbox is the one to get anyways.

yes. the GTI also has the DSG gearbox. It's the exact same one that is in the R32
and it's not an automatic. It's a computer controlled manual transmission with 2 clutches. Just do a google search on it.
I almost got the DSG however it's an extra $1,500

I would highly suggest taking the GTI for a spin. I can't personally count for this, but most reviews by experts and general VW enthusiasts say the GTI is just as fun a car but significantly cheaper.

However, with just a couple of mods (intake, exhaust) and a reflash ($500) you will be getting close to 300hp and quicker than an R32 however still getting 30mpg

yeah but the R32 has some little things that are nice..
but dont quote me because i dont know what the GTI comes with
R32...AWD, 250hp, Leather interior(recaros+heated seats) and for me its not ALL about performance. if i got the GTI i know i would get the R32 rear and get a front lip and all that jazz and i dont feel like modding it all that much..
only thing i want to do to the R32 is paint the front grille black, get a front lip, slam it, exhaust, rims
yes the GTI is cheaper but i feel like the R32 has everything i need and i wouldnt have to spend as much modding it to get it where i like. like i said before there are alot of things i would change in the GTI
i mean its an R32.. yeah its more expesive but its unique..
im still going to test drive the ralliart in like 2 weeks
