I got my 2.5 inch one form ebay, listed as a GTI/Golf/Mini antenna. Reception isn't that great in narrow canyons though. If anyone gets the Perrin one, please post how good the reception is.

createacat1, i honestly think u should get the s2000 antenna. its cheaper (19.99) and u dont have to pay shipping. it looks the same except for the crome ring at the bottom. Take my advice, get the S2000 antenna and save around 10 bux (no tax, shipping)

lol they twist on/off. I have an entenna off of a 2003 civic si...they're almost the same as s2000...same lenght. My buddy hated the car so much that he screwed it right off of the si that parked next to me at the movie theatres and threw it in my back seat...lol felt bad, but its a civic....

exactly as the other guys said, easy, no tools. twist off twist on. if you can twist a cap off a bottle, then you can do it..same thing. i think the hardest part for me was reaching up there since i'm so short!
here's a tip too: i put a dab of hobby glue (kinda like super glue), so little punks can't steal it so easily. if they're gonna take something from me at least they gotta work for it hehe

dude cat listen to me. the perry short antenna looks exactly like the s2000 antenna and it cost more. i say u just go with the s2000 antenna. and if u do want to stick with the perry short antenna then yes the evo and lancer base are the same.
