Another update!

Got my custom bellhousing in a while back now, but progress has started on the supra gearbox. Photos show supra tranny with old bellhousing then with the new bellhousing install and finally bolted up to an old engine for mock up purposes. Enjoy!

Looks good. Quick question are you going to need a transmission tunnel for it to fit or not?

Yes it will need a tunnel fabricated. Now that its mounted to the block, were going to measure and mock everything up. The front subframe will need to be cut in half, and a custom steering rack will need to be fabricated. The firewall will also be cut open as will part of the floor. The transmission tunnel will be built around the engine and transmission sitting in place in the car.

Fully built 6 bolt 1st gen, the guy who built my bellhousing is still prototyping for the evo block as its slightly different.

so you would be using the 1st gen on the evo block? wow now that's what I call custom fab work

The whole engine if from a 1st gen but it will be rebuilt for probably around 600hp and cost less then a evo long block. Like I said the bellhosuing guy probably wont have the evo block bellhousing's done until next year anyway.
