Question Aftermarket seats

Okay here's the thing: I hate the seats in the Lancer, they're too damn stiff. So I want to get some aftermarket seats, but which ones? I'm choosing between Sparco Torino's, Recaro SRD's, Corbeau A4's, Tenzo's and some seats from Arospeed (basically rebadged Recaro's). I've heard a variety of things about the seats, but what do you guys think. Also if any of you have the seats or know someone who does, could you let me know how they feel after a longish drive, their quality and how much the cost really was after sliders, brackets, etc. were bought. Thanks, I really appreciate any feedback I can get before I shell out a small fortune.

liquid7879 could you post the url for designmax, all I get are foreign sites for companies that have nothing to do with aftermarket parts when I do a web search. Thanks.

Yep, I have the Arospeed seats and I couldn't be any happier. The stock seats were designed for fat people in my humble opinion... these seats are a little bit more *buckety* hug me a little bit more. Couldn't be happier, quality is out of the hizzzle!!

Yeah, they're sorta tight. I'm rather fond of the Corbeau CR-1's, though

When I get the money Im buying those Arospeed seats. I heard of problemswith prior generations of Arospeed seats, but if they are basically Recaros, I dont think quality will be an issue. DesignmanFX, where did you get your seats? Also how much?

And one more question, whatdid you do with the stock EVo seats? Did you sell them? Do you wnat to sell them? lol Thanks

I got them straight from Arospeed on arospeed.com - i can probably get you a discount if you want, ill find out for sure.

Let me just say, I got my Evo back when they were raping people $36,500 and for that much $$$ i wouldnt put crap in my shizzle... lack of belief from everyone I gave it a look myself and found suprise - thats all i gotta say on that ... :-)

Designmanfx, what kind of brackets are you using? I've seen some from MMR that allow you to reattach your seat belt to the new bracket, and others that force you to use four points. Phatqdog69 I hear ya, I love Corbeaus, but I'm right at a 34 inch waist and don't want to shoehorn my butt into the seat, I also don't want to pay $100 to go to a 40 inch seat that I'd be swimming in.
