Which size rims for a LANCER ES?
#16
if you've been on accolade's site (body-kit.com) u would know 19's are not an option for a lancer....they look rediculous! 18's depends on what kind of roadz your drivin on. 17's may not look the greatest but, youre not gonna be replacin the tires for every pothole you hit. i'd go for 17's and drop the car (i like the skunk2 coilovers) funny, i have 17's and skunk2's...odd.....

if you go with 18's your speed odom will only be faster than you are actually goiong by 2 MPH. Not a big deal, but you will need 215/35 ZR 18 for your tire size. Then drop your car about 2".
any lower than 2" with 18'z and you'll rub.
19'z will fit too, with barely any room for error.

I got 17"s and had sraped on a drive through one time, luckily it wasn't bad. It was the outer lip part and maybe 2 inches long. Really not that noticable, but you will scrape on curbs with 17"s.

questions--- can you fit 18 with series 40 on a Lancer not series 35?
17s are too small looking
I have 17s and I am selling them - they are brand new if any one wants em with brand new tires, 40 series
I want either 19s or 18s -- and by the way everyone - 19s dont look ridiculous

i dunno why,i dont live in the U.S. so,i dont have to,but what im guessin is that youll have to remove the bigger rims cuz of small amount of tires, wich will cause slippery,i think not if its what i said its correct bcuz there r some many good tires out there toprevent your car from slip(correct me my spell and what i said)

You should take them off for winter like most people just because in winter salt is going to be eating at them along with all everything else. Your car during winter is gonna be dirty all the time anyway. I always take rims off in winter and put them back on as soon as the weather turns. Other then my cavalier which stays in storage all winter.
