Powered M3 Mirrors w/ led

I just got powered M3 Mirrors with turn led and would like to know if somedy has already installed them on their US Lancer. How do you put off the stock mirrors and make the led on the mirrors functionnal??

Thanks in advance everyone.

To get old ones off, remove the door panel on the inside of the car (only wat to get to all the bolts). You'l have to unplug the power to them too. Splice the new power and ground into it. Screw in new mirrors. Run the additional wires to a 12v power source and that should do it. Easier said than done, but PM me if you get stuck.

yeah where??

if they're the ebay mirrors i'll take a picture of how i wired mine into the harness so you can match up the right color wires the first time and not have to test each type of configuration ..Plus you may have to do some cutting to the m3 mirrors...

I agree, I have a set of the cf mirrors on the way also. Any install pics or tips would be great.

OK guys. I've installed the m3 mirrors on my car and let me tell you it's a real pain in the *** but it's worth it. Well it depends if you got powered ones and if you want to make them functionnal. At first you have to remove the black mirror hub from the interior and then unscrew the mirrors. After you have to dismount the door panels and connect the wires for the power mirrors. Then if you want to make the led functionnal you have to connect them to a turn signal. I chose to connect them to the sidemarkers.

Anyways it's hard to explain for me since my mechanic friend did most of the job but actually it should take 2-3 hours if you are alone.

I will post some pics later on. THEY LOOK GREAT! I GET A LOTTA LOOKS!
