Ouch that's unlucky. However, it is not bad at all and if you want to replace the part it should not be too costly.

thats why i love how short our cars are. you dont have to pull all the way into the parking spot and risk hitting those things.

the sound was horrible to hear but those front things are a POS so its really not a big deal to me

Thats why i dont pull up to curbs ect...my old stratus had the whole bumper rip off....

The problem is, I see everyone park over these things, or curbs. Why do they think just because their car isn't lowered they can park over them? This habit manifests into people who eventually drive a lowered car and this is what happens lol.

I try to stay as far away from them as I can and if I really do have to park with them then usually what i would do is back up into them. Usually your rear end is higher than the lip so you have a little bit more room than if you were to go head first.

its something you just learn with driving, when i was at stock height for a year that whole time, even though my car could go over those being stock, i still practiced stopping in front of them. now that i'm lowered i can accurately tell when to stop, if anything i stop with too much room left. but too much room left is better than too far up.

i couldnt imagine if i pulled up too far now. im sure my whole bumper would be screwed.

if you cant totally avoid these things, just back in.
