Kontra,
FYI... Most trunk springs have some adjustment in them for how much force they use to open the trunk. You may want to look at the design of the springs and see if there is any adjustment.

that is something you need to ask Rob at Road Race...he is now a distributor for the company that gave me these lights, I believe they are still in DOT approval and then they will be out.

yah, you prolly need to change the springs out. when i bought my ES i had them put on the OZ spoiler and while putting the wing on i saw them changing the springs due to the extra weight. so i guess you could go down to the dealership and ask for the ES trunk springs kus your **** is so light now. im guessing.......

Hey Kontra,
I looked, they arte not adjustable. Considering the weight difference you can probably just take one out. They are easy to remove.

It's not going to fly away when you drive down the highway, will it? I mean, I'd like to buy one but I'm afraid that it'll fly away during driving in highways.

By wing I think he meant rear spoiler, I don't think the car will fly.

Really though, I think it is probably just as stiff as the regular trunk.

just to clear up any confusion,

wing: device used to manipulate airflow in which air moves both over and under.

spoiler: device used to manipulate airflow in which air moves over only.

So if you want to get technical, the stock OZ wing is a wing as well as the Evo wing. Evo wing just happens to be bigger and more functional. Indy cars have wings, Nascar has spoilers, for example.
